As an Executive Operations Assistant within Yaqeen’s Office of the CEO, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining social media content and accounts. You will be tasked with creating social media content in the form of reels, shorts and general Youtube content. Social media platforms include Tiktok, Facebook, X, Youtube, Threads, and Instagram. You will be required to be up to date with the latest trends, platform growth best practices, reviewing comments, and quick to respond. You will be required to write captions and submit for review prior to release. In addition, you will manage multiple email accounts, as well as managing communication, logistics, and scheduling for the office of the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management - Post all content: Tiktok, Threads, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube Channel, Shorts.
  • Social Media Analytics - Track social media analytics, stay up-to-date on trends, review comments on posts.
  • Creative Content Production - Produce Reels, Shorts, YouTube videos, graphics (e.g. quote graphics).
  • Content Captioning - Utilize Descript and other captioning platforms to subtitle all content.
  • Thumbnail Production - Thumbnails, both 9x16 and 16x9.
  • Event & meeting scheduling - liaising with organizers of events, key public figures, and general asks.
  • Track HubSpot Invitations - Invitations and requests for executive team often come through HubSpot from the website
  • Identify Timestamps for microcontent (as needed) - Timestamps for khutbahs, halaqas, and as needed

Required skills

  • 2-3 years of social media management experience, including for social media accounts with substantial following (100K+)
  • 1-2 years of experience in producing creative content for social media accounts (9x16 videos, 16x9 videos, etc)
  • 2-3 years experience in copywriting and content management
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Analytical skills and strong attention to details
  • Background in classical Islamic education is preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Suite or similar is preferred
  • Background in political science, journalism, or similar is preferred
  • Knowledge of the Arabic language and grammar is preferred
