The Quran in chains looks at the painful stories of Enslaved Muslim Africans brought to these shores trying to maintain their faith and their humanity simultaneously in a land that sought to rob them of both. The numbers of enslaved Muslims have often been downplayed, and their level of practice and scholarship greatly undervalued.
